Proving that there is no end to their talents – or at least demonstrating that they are willing to try anything in the name of charity- Brue Valley Rotarians gave up their Saturday morning for a spot of creative painting and decorating.

One group were much in demand painting Monster, Rabbit, Spider-man, Tiger, Hello Kitty, Butterfly, Dracula and flower power patterns on children’s faces and arms. The other group helped children decorate candle light jars and achieved some impressive designs. All materials for both the face painting and jar decoration were donated by the club and there was no charge made for either activity. We were happy to support this event for the benefit of children living in Castle Cary and the surrounding area.

We had some great comments from both children and their parents and by the end of the event many children could be seen walking away from the event happily sporting painted faces with a tea light jar in a bag on their flower painted arms!
