Last night Brue Valley Rotary ran another successful Village Hall race night, this time at Galhampton, with over 80 villagers enjoying the evening. Entry included a light supper which was provided by the Village Hall – as was the bar !
It didn’t take long for the punters to get involved once they had seen how simple it was to choose which horse to follow. Much enjoyment ensued and the hall became very noisy towards the end of each race, successful punters were quick to take their winnings.
The proceeds of the evening are to be shared evenly between the village hall and Rotary’s chosen charity Freewheelers.
